After Deep thought and good points from racers this is the rule set we will run with next season to encourage new racers and a fair playing ground. Classes that dont have 5 racers more then two events will be cancelled for the year.

King of the North No Prep – 2026 Rules & Points Series

OG Street

$100 BUY IN. Buy backs after first round only.

This class is for true street cars — not race cars.

If you’ve got a real street car with some upgrades and want to line up with the best, this is your lane. Perfect for new and upcoming no-prep racers looking to prove it on the pavement.

Vehicle Requirements:

• All steel, all glass

• Factory-location suspension (no tube chassis)

• No parachutes

• No aftermarket spoilers

• No Lexan windows — no exceptions

• AWD cars must run DOT tires

• RWD or FWD may run any tire combo

• Factory door panels required

• Factory headliner required

• OEM dash required

• Working headlights, taillights, wipers, and power windows

• Radio must be present

• Exhaust must exit past the rear axle

• Vehicle must be plated and insured

• All doors, trunk, and tailgates must operate with OEM locks and hinges

This is not a race car class — it’s for real street cars that can still hit a drive-thru, then hit the strip.

• Must be a door car

• Must have all bodywork / hood (exemptions may apply)

$150 Buy backs after first round only

Vehicle Requirements:

• Tires: 28x10.5 slick or any size DOT tire for RWD cars

• AWD cars must use DOT tires with a minimum 17-inch rim

• Vehicle must be plated and insured

• OEM dashboard required

• Covered door panels allowed

• All steel and all glass (Lexan rear window allowed for trucks if required for cage clearance)

• No external weight

• Must have working cooling system

• All doors and windows must operate as they came from factory

• Drag-style spoilers, sheet metal, or aluminum spoilers permitted (must not extend past parachute)

• No large wings

This one’s for the true hot rod street machines.

Vehicle Requirements:

• Rear-wheel drive

• All steel, all glass

• Full OEM interior

• Exhaust must exit at the rear

• Plated and insured

• Factory inner fenders required

• Must carry one lawn chair in the trunk

Special Rule:

You must leave the track, drive to Tim Hortons in Cayuga, and return to the track before racing begins.

This class is for your Camaros, Corvettes, Hellcats, New Edge Mustangs, trucks, and other true street hot rods.

General Class Rules

• Minimum of 5 cars required to run a class

• First-round buybacks only

• diapers or oil drip trays highly recommend ( If you Oil the Track down you will be required to have a diaper or oil drip tray to come race again. Please understand the more oil down the longer to clean up the less time for racing

2026 Points Series

All classes are part of the King of the North No Prep Points Series.

Racers must register before the season starts to qualify for year-end awards and prizes.

Points System:

• Show up & buy in: +10 points

• Each round raced: +10 points

• Buyback: –10 points

• Event win: +10 bonus points

End-of-Year Awards:

• 1st Place – 70% of sponsorship fund

• 2nd Place – 20%

• 3rd Place – 10%

• Points Champion Trophies awarded to top finishers

Note:

Non-registered racers may still participate, but their buy-in will include an additional $50 per event, which will be added to that class final pot end of year
